Kontakt 3 is a more well rounded product. These are the problems I've found so far on both systems. HOWEVER opening K3 causes system crashes, the Autosave problem (system hangs for 5-10 seconds while it Pro-Tools does its automatic timed backups), and K3 doesn't properly respond to certain CC messages.
What was Digidesign thinking? You're really paying for the COLUSSUS library that is included with Structure, BOTH which need to iLOK key attached to operate. Kontakt 3 DOES run in Pro-Tools 8 without much CPU usage even. STRUCTURE can be used as a standalone like Kontakt can, but can onl import Kontkt and EXS24 Files.

It DOESN'T justify the $500 price tag when STRUCTURE FREE is available,which can do the same thing. If you're looking for a SAMPLER, and love the ability to just drop in AUDIO regions for manipulation, then Structure is your choice. I initially purchased Structure because of the perceived work flow benefits. I purchased Structure prior to purchasing Kontakt 3 and was extremely dissatisfied with the Digidesign product.
